Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Will SaleTrack affect my site's functionality?
A: No. SaleTrack is invisible to your shoppers and has no effect on your website's performance or aesthetics.
Q: How easy is it to make my site work with SaleTrack?
A: Very easy. SaleTrack requires you to insert a small piece of code on your website's pages. There is a full
resource centre detailing how to insert the code, however if you require a more personal level of service
we are happy to liaise with you, your web design company or even insert the code for you free of charge.
Q: Does SaleTrack track all my traffic, or do I have to set up links to things I want to track?
A: SaleTrack is revolutionary. It tracks all your visitors and sales from every referrer to your site without you
having to set up any links at all. That said, you can set up specific tracking campaigns in the SaleTrack
campaigns area to track specific online and offline adverts that you want to track exclusively.
Q: Is my data confidential & secure?
A: Yes. We protect your data with the highest security. We use encryption when communicating sensitive
data and only ever store sensitive data using storage encryption techniques. The data on your website's
statistics can only be accessed by you or by authorised support personnel at SaleTrack. Credit card
information is not visible to our staff apart from key banking personnel. Your confidentiality is one of our
priorities, please read our Privacy Policy and Security Statement.
Q: Does SaleTrack collect my customer's personal details?
A: No. SaleTrack does not store or collect any personal information about your customers.
Q: How accurate is SaleTrack?
A: Very. SaleTrack should capture a minimum of 99% of your sales with referrer information, detailing when
they were made, where the shopper came from, how much they spent and how many items they bought.
Even if a shopper has increased security settings on their browser or cookies disabled, SaleTrack had
the power to track them.
Q: What if I use a third party payment or checkout page on another server?
A: This is not a problem. SaleTrack has been developed to work regardless of where your checkout pages
are located. We work with all the major forms of online payment systems. We have not yet found an instance
where we cannot implement SaleTrack.
Q: What will the billing name on my bank statement be for SaleTrack services?
A: On your bank statement your payments will be made to Come-Shopping.Com Ltd. This is the parent
company of SaleTrack and they will take the payments for your SaleTrack service.
Q: How do I become a reseller?
A: Please contact us using the contact form, selecting reseller in the 'department to contact' area of the form.
A member of our team will be in touch.
Q: I am struggling with code insertion.
A: Code insertion is very straight forward (a simple‘cut and paste’ into your html), but we appreciate that
everyone has different levels of computer skills and are happy to help.
Please use our technical support
area for assistance, or read the ‘step by step’ code insertion help area in your account. If you are still
struggling, our Technical Support Team will insert the code for you. Please use the ‘Technical Support

Q: Can I use SaleTrack to track my offline marketing?

advertising such as TV and magazine campaigns. This is all detailed in the Resource Centre which
is only available to SaleTrack customers.
Q: Can SaleTrack track my email campaigns and newsletters?
A: Yes. Simply set up a campaign and insert the link that the SaleTrack Campaign Generator provides into
your html email or newsletter in place of the standard links to your site. There are further details of this
procedure in the client Resource Centre.
